Urban Projects

  • I made textiles from scratch, cut them into star shapes and then pasted them on walls. There were some Letraset alphabets on each star, at the end they all formed a sentence 2016

  • Taped crosswords and their answers on walls 2015-2016

  • Photocopies that I glued on the wall and spontaneously performed paintings on it 2014-2016

  • Paintings on fabric, which then I taped to the walls 2015

  • Memory writings on the asphalt with chalk 2014-2015

  • Collages made out of old familial photographs and made huge photocopies and left on the walls 2013

  • Cut outs made of disco fabric in the shape of women that I pasted on walls 2012 Walkabouts in Sanaii project 2012

  • Tapestry cut outs that I pasted on the walls and left them 2012

Ongoing Projects

  • Mojde Sheikh Rezaee and I have been Curating works since the beginning of Corona virus at Roberto Café 2019- on going
  • I have been working on house, biography and interviews with neighbors Since 2017. In the end this project will be a Video-Interview.
  • Research and field-based study on the subject of vandalism and it’s relation to urban art since 2014
  • Study on the Urban landscapes of Japan; specifically, symbols used on hangings called Noren and its similarities and differences with the Ilm al Huruf Movement in Iran since 2015
  • Photographing urban graffiti and vandalism in Iran since 2012
